Lakeside were selected to manufacture and install the required Flood Defences to protect The Savoy Hotel, the only five-star hotel on the River Thames in London.
A combination of Demountable Aluminium Flood Barriers to function rooms and basement voids, along with the provision of a ready supply of bespoke gel-filled, self-inflating flood bags was required.
Lakeside also provided bespoke Cover Plates to the Flood Barrier Side Posts, powder coated to a Signal White finish, in order to ensure an aesthetically-pleasing finish and match the luxurious surrounds of the premises.
